It took some trickery, but I finally got Mary to laugh while my camera and I interrupted her doing her homework. On a more serious note, Mary's working hard at gathering donations for her upcoming buzz cut on April 8. She is having a wonderful response, and she's more than halfway toward her goal of raising $1000 for the MACC Fund (a local cancer charity). She's also excited about her first-ever blood donation at the school blood drive tomorrow. In her other activities, she had a volleyball tournament last Sunday in Milwaukee, this coming weekend is State Mock Trial in Madison, and next weekend is State Solo and Ensemble, which Brad and John will be here for! Speaking of the men in the family, Peter is in Connecticut this week with Brad. On Sunday they went to Hartford to watch the NCAA women's basketball regionals, which included UConn and was a thrill as Brad said they were amazing. Tomorrow Brad has some meetings in New York and Peter will tag along for the ride and use that as an excuse to spend a day in the city. This weekend they're going to Boston to pick up John, and the next day Peter will go back to DC.
