More Golfing!
John will be jealous when he reads this, so cover your eyes John, but Peter and I went golfing again today. We found a beautiful 9-hole public course in Litchfield, which is about 40 minutes from here. The drive to get there is scenic, and the course is also scenic as it's carved into the hills. Everything we saw today was gorgeous, and we kept imagining how much more stunning it will be when the leaves turn colors in the fall. The course wasn't crowded and we felt we could take our time which, when one's weapons of choice are a 5-wood, a pitching wedge, and a putter, is a plus. (That's me I referring to, not Peter.) So all in all, another good outing. And in other Harrison news, we got our first letter from Mary. She is doing great, loving camp, thinks the classes are interesting and challenging, and she raved about the food too. This weekend is her midway point, and all the campers will get to go into town to do laundry and a bit of shopping, so I'm sure she's looking forward to that. Peter leaves tomorrow. We will miss him, but we've had a great visit together.
