Woodbury Farmer's Market

Today was "opening day" at the Woodbury Farmer's Market, so Mary and I went to check things out. There was lots of produce (most of it pesticide free), as well as herbs and flowers in pots, plus the usual assortment of jam, spices, honey, etc. For such a small town, it's a nice-sized market, and it's only about a mile from home. I predict you'll know where to find me most Wednesday afternoons for the rest of the summer!
The entrance to the market. It's held in the same park as the concert we went to last weekend.
Mary took this picture of these beautiful flowers.
Next week we need to arrive at the market on an empty stomach. These flatbread pizzas are made on-site. The vendor has a pizza oven that he hauls in on a small flat trailer. They looked soooooo yummy!
A bale of hay makes for a nice seat.
After the market, Mary decided we should go to the town ice-cream stand for a snack. It's hard to argue with that kind of logic.
