Yard Work . . . the Continuing Saga
The vegetation in our yard is a bit . . . overgrown, to say the least. Today, Brad found his electric hedge trimmer, and that, combined with the saw he's kept close to his side whenever he's outside, made him a man possessed. He got rid of many many wheel barrows-full of brush today. I should have taken "before" pictures - oh well.
The Japanese Maple in the foreground, and the holly and rhodendrum bushes next to the house, were seriously trimmed by Brad today.
The front steps were about halfway blocked with vegetation before Brad and his hedge trimmer got to them.
This little garden next to the garage still needs a lot of work, but you wouldn't believe the amount of foliage that was taken away from it today.
Last week we had a flash flood that went down the driveway and out into the yard (away from the house). It carried with it an incredible amount of sand and rocks and debris. Today I moved it all here, at the bottom of the driveway between the driveway and the fence. It's hard to tell from this photo, but that is a LOT of debris!
