She's All-League!

Here's Mary and some of her teammates waiting for the final match to begin at tonight's Berkshire League tournament. The tournament wasn't worth anything in the season except for bragging rights, and at the end of the evening our team didn't have anything to brag about. Since they are in the stands, you can probably figure out that they weren't in the final match. Their setter sprained her ankle last night, and that was just the beginning of their problems. To put it bluntly, they played pitifully. So that's the bad news. The good news is that the All-Berkshire League teams were announced, and Mary was named to 2nd Team All-League! She plays so hard and is so competitive, and we are so proud of her. Next, it's onto the state tournament, which begins on Monday night.
