Last night on our way to church, we got to see the luminaries all up and down Main Street in Woodbury. The local Lions Club sets up the luminaries, which are not only on Main Street (a luminary every few feet, for a couple of miles) but also on adjacent streets, driveways, and walkways. It was such a beautiful and peaceful sight to see on Christmas Eve. Our tiny church (with a large congregation) had three Christmas Eve Masses, and we opted not to go to the large Mass held at the high school gym. We attended the third Mass at 10:00 p.m., which was in the church. Although the church was packed, everyone in the church got a seat. It was a lovely Mass and setting. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As for the photos below, normally I'd put some notes below each picture but the blogging website I use has changed how it works and I can't seem to figure out how to do that. I'll figure it out later. I think the photos are self-explanatory. The one of Mary and Allie is when they went out to get some kindling for the fire.
