Flashback Friday

Here is Kia looking out the front door of our house in Shorewood last fall. On Tuesday we said goodbye to our beloved Kia. She suddenly became extremely sick and it was with her best interests in mind that we chose to say farewell. She was our first dog, a great friend to everyone in our family, and a best friend to Allie. We knew her as Kia Buddy, Keester, Kia the Brave, Kia Chan, Special K . . . . but mostly she was just Kia -- our amazing dog, bundle of love and, most of all, devoted friend. She went with us to Japan, Wisconsin, and Connecticut, where she always loved and never complained. We miss her so much, but the love and joy she brought to our family will always be with us.
