Oscar Night
We decided to play dress up for Oscar night. And Mary made/bought some Oscar-themed food -- the bruschetta from Julie and Julia, Blue Machine Naked Juice (Avatar) and frozen pizza that she cut into the shape of a Crazy Heart. Brad mussed up his hair so as to look more Oscar-worthy. We had fun, but by the end of the evening, Mary had a big fleece pullover over her dress, and slippers on her feet in place of pumps. (And we are Oscar lightweights . . . . since the show is on so late here we went to bed at 9:30 and taped the rest to watch this week.)

You guys are crazy! I thought the end was too rushed. HEre you sit all night waiting for best picture and then they quickly announce it in such a matter you're wondering what just happened.
ReplyDeleteWe had just rented The Hurt Locker on Friday to watch so we were glad to see it win (Hopefully I didn't spoil it for you). I'm not a James Cameron fan.
