It's been a week of so many flashbacks - with visits to Ithaca and Stanford, and also hearing about Peter's experiences in Poland. So I had many things on my mind in choosing this week's Flashback Friday. I thought back to a very special weekend we spent in Poland in April of 2002. A small group from our parish, led by our pastor and friend Marek, went on a pilgrimage to Krakow and Czetochowa, and the entire Harrison family went too. We stayed at the Augustinian monastery in Krakow; we toured sites in the city of Krakow; we visited the nearby
Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Lagniewniki (near Krakow) and learned about the life and experiences of
Sister Faustina; and the highlight of our trip was going to the most holiest of places in Poland, the
Shrine of Our Lady of Czetochowa at Jasna Gora. On the pilgrimage we got to know people in our parish better, and the places we visited and things we learned added depth to our love and understanding of Poland. This week's Flashback is a picture of John, Brad, and Peter on this trip in Krakow on April 12, 2002. I don't remember the exact location where they are sitting. Peter, can you help me out?
