Flashback Friday

This week makes it exactly one year since we moved from Wisconsin to Connecticut! It's been a great year and we have so much to be thankful for.  And . . . it's not our only moving anniversary. Eighteen years ago this week - in June of 1992 - we moved from Ithaca to Racine to begin our cherished years in  Wisconsin. When driving from Ithaca, we took a detour on the way to Racine to visit a few places in New England. One of those places was Cheshire, the town in Connecticut where I lived during my last three years of high school. (It's about half an hour from where we now live.) So here are John (age 2) and Peter (age 3½), in their one-and-only visit to Connecticut before our move last year, having a frozen treat at the Dairy Queen in Cheshire. Never would Brad or I have guessed we'd ever return, let alone to live here . . . . life really is full of surprises.
