This was August 6, 2001, in Milwaukee, when Peter sang Sto Lat with the Polish boys' choir Cantores Minores. This was the summer before seventh grade. They had finished their Milwaukee performances and were about to head off to their next destination. He was on tour with the choir for six weeks, and we flew over to see him for a few days when they sang in Chicago and Milwaukee. Flash forward to the present . . . . after being gone for over six months while studying again in Poland and now having been home for about three weeks, we head back to DC in a few days for Peter to start his senior year in college. My how time flies!
I remember I thought Peter made up the whole choir !
