We were happy to have John here over the Memorial Day weekend! As you can see, we put him to work on the grill.
The weather all weekend was great so we ate outside every night. Otherwise, we had a relaxing weekend at home . . . . some sleeping in (John and Mary), a post-prom day at the beach (Mary), a little gardening (me) and a little work around the house (Brad), some shopping (me and John), dinner with friends on Saturday (all of us). You get the idea.
On Monday night, John's friends Nick and Judah stopped by to pick him up on their drive back to Boston from Iowa City. They both go to Tufts with John, and like John they're both also in Boston for the summer.
After dinner it was time for the guys to get on the road to Boston. We were sad to see John go, but we're planning to visit him this coming weekend for his birthday, so we know we'll see him soon!
