John, formerly the only Harrison with perfect vision, is now John, the only Harrison who was able to hold out until he was age 21 before he had to get glasses. In true Harrison fashion, I made him take this picture as soon as we walked out of Lenscrafters yesterday. When he was little, John used to pride himself on the fact that with his perfect vision he could be a Navy pilot. Now, the Navy isn't in his future anyway, but his vision is corrected, so all is good!
Is my son the only kid that doesn't want glasses and went straight to contacts? John looks very handsome with his glasses. Tell him at age 47, Aunt Kathy still doesn't need glasses....except to read!
