It's our first trip to Hawaii, so we went to a luau. I had no idea luaus were such big business. There have been many on the lawn below our balcony during the week we've been here. The one we went to sells out seven nights a week and holds 500 people! It was interesting, the food was good, and we really enjoyed it.

The luau grounds were immaculate and beautiful. Even outside the grounds it was pretty.

As were the flowers.

The luau we went to was held on Lahaina Bay, which is in West Maui.

After dinner there was a big show on this stage. I didn't take photos of the show, but it told the story of the history of Hawaii through dance, music, and narration. The costumes and the dancing were, as you might imagine, the highlights.

We fly home Saturday night and have spent the last of our time here just relaxing, which included me putting down my camera. It's been a wonderful first visit to Hawaii. Wishing everyone a Happy Easter!
