Happy Thanksgiving!

It's hard to believe but the five Harrisons haven't been together in a year and a half. What better way to rejoin than by christening our new house with a Harrison and Bedik Thanksgiving-Hanukkah dinner. Peter was in charge of the brussel sprouts and here he is busy at work.

John and Esther gamely tried out the brown ale that John and Troy brought for us all. By the looks of it, they approved!

After cutting the brussel sprouts off the stalk, Peter was left with a mighty .... whatchamacallit. He was quite happy with himself, if you can't already tell.

Lloyd schooled Peter in the fine art of drinking vodka.

And Mary was pleased with herself when she locked us out of the house.

Allie liked being with everybody! She is definitely getting used to her new house.

We had a Thanksgiving buffet. Everybody made a dish, which not only helped me, but made for a delicious variety!

It was also Hanukkah, and the Bediks helped us to enjoy and understand this celebration.

But best of all we all got to eat together and enjoy each other's company. It was a very Happy Thanksgiving and a great way to begin life in our new house! Tomorrow we say goodbye to Mary (but look for her marching in Saturday's Stanford home game vs. Notre Dame) - but next month we'll all be together again for Christmas!
