Over the weekend Brad and I started prepping this guest room for painting. It gets new carpeting soon so we want to get the painting done before the carpet gets installed.
Over the weekend we also bought this old door. (The paneling matches the rest of our doors, which are circa 1900 and not sold at the likes of Home Depot.) It'll be the pocket door to the master closet.
Yesterday's most visible progress was the cutting out of the door frame for the new upstairs hall closet. This is the closet that used to open up awkwardly in the master bedroom. It wasn't large enough to be our only master closet, which is why we donated it to the hallway.
