Our never-ending move continues until the end of the month! Over the weekend Brad and John brought over the few remaining heavy things. Moving the Japanese lantern is always an accomplishment! But it's worth it as it always makes our yard look like "home."
As does having our Shorewood lion in the front of the house.
Allie never lets us forget that part of any outdoor work …..
….. is outdoor play.
John is doing a project for their kegerator, which will allow for exterior tap handles. So the rest of the weekend, and continuing into the week, he's been working on that here at the house.
The tap handles will fit through this wooden frame, which will become the bottom of the lid of the chest freezer. Confused? Me too. When it's all done I'll post a picture of the finished product!
Lest you think "oh, Brad and Sue must be all moved in" - behold our living room, aka staging area. We have nearly everything out of the other house ….. and now everything must find its place. All in due time …..
