Flashback Friday

Before I start, let me say that on so many Fridays I wonder: "have I used this picture before in a Flashback?" A more responsible blogger would have kept some kind of list but I don't do that. So I'm sure I sometimes repeat. To that I guess all I can say is: "oh well." And now, onto my Flashback (which may or may not be a repeat). I love the Gateway Arch. The first time Harrisons visited it was in May of 2006 when Mary and I were on a school music trip. (That's 7th grade Mary with me in the photo.) Other than the super long bus ride there and back, the primary activities of the trip were that the kids performed at a couple of music festivals, we went to Six Flags, and we went to the Arch. And I remember so clearly how amazingly awesome the Arch was then, as it is now. The other day Brad's parents and I visited the Arch (photos from that visit in my next post) and it reminded me that being there up close is always a marvel. So today I decided to look back at our first time at this wonderful monument (which is barely visible behind my head). I highly recommend a visit there.
