Can You Beer Me Now?

This afternoon we went to BrewFest, a home brew festival held at Ballpark Village in St. Louis. Troy had two beers they made being poured at the festival through a club she's in called Femme Ferment. Here she is explaining her Vanilla Stout to a group at the festival.
It was one of the more elaborate beer festivals we've been to. We splurged for a ticket that got us a five-course meal with beer pairings, and we got to sit with the Budweiser brewmaster who chose the pairings for the meal. All that beer made for a pretty table, even with partially downed glasses.
Troy and John poured the Vanilla Stout and also their Witty Femme outside at the festival.
Brad and me, enjoying Witty Femme. It has a hint of lavender, which made for a lovely beer.
Meanwhile in Washington, D.C., Peter and Mary enjoyed a brew of their own. (Mary's in town for a job interview.)
Here's Mary with Peter's friend Mike, enjoying a beer at a favorite haunt, St. Arnold's. So that means I know their dinner tonight will be Belgian-style beer and mussels!
