It's very exciting that this weekend all the Harrisons are going to be together for Mary's graduation on Sunday! John and Troy are already in California, as are Brad and I, and Peter flies in late this morning. I'm flashing back to 2003, the year that Mary "graduated" from fifth grade in Japan. (It was such a nonevent that I don't even have a photo of the entire family from her ceremony - in fact I don't even know if the boys were allowed to be there.) So since I wanted a photo of all five of us, I'm instead posting a picture from that same week at Peter's eighth grade graduation. (Where, for some reason, Mary got out of having to wear her school uniform.) I don't think it's an understatement to say that in this picture we have Mary's most avid fan club. And while Brad and I are no slouches in that category, on either side of Mary are her two rocks, her best friends for life, and the most devoted brothers a girl could ever ask for. (And who are not going to be pleased with me for posting yet another middle school-era photo.) All of this is a round about way of saying that I love all three of our children so very much, I love that they love and support each other, and I love that we can all be together on her graduation to show Mary how proud we are of her. And with that . . . . . let's get this graduation weekend celebration started!!
