The Week (and Thensome) in Pictures

Mary's been home for almost two weeks and we've been enjoying her being here! A week ago Tuesday she got her wisdom teeth out. Here she is getting a milkshake afterwards. The dental procedure was a piece of cake. Little did she know that within a couple of days she'd have a reaction to the antibiotic they gave her, which means she broke out in an itchy rash and then she had to go on medication to deal with the rash. It took almost a week to get a handle on it. I think if she'd known this was going to happen, she might have gotten a larger shake!
Once she started feeling better we started doing things again. Over the weekend we had lunch at Troy's bar, we met up with some friends from Wisconsin, and we saw a movie with John and Troy. Then on Sunday the three of us went to see the Cardinals play. Sadly, the weather wasn't on our side. After two rain delays we decided to go home. But not before we got a photo in the stadium!
On Monday the three of us had lunch at one of St. Louis' microbreweries, Urban Chestnut. Brad and I hadn't been there before so it was a first for all of us.
Mary's a really good cook and she's been making us lots of good food. This is a picture from last night's dinner when she made a tofu stir fry with vegetables and rice noodles and chili garlic sauce. It was absolutely delicious! Right now she's downstairs making a cobbler for tomorrow night's dinner - we're getting spoiled!
