Today starts a departure for Flashback Friday. This is the backstory: to choose each weekly photo for the Flashback, I usually search through our family photo albums. But outside of our family photo albums, we also have a "photo box," which contains all of our miscellaneous photos, including any photos of our family that other people took and gave to us. So, it has photos given to us by teachers, by family friends, by relatives, etc. I've gathered a bunch of the pictures from our photo box to use for the Flashback in the coming months. They'll be kind of random, but hopefully they'll also be kind of fun. And because they're rarely if ever looked at, for most of us it'll be like we've never seen them before. For today, I have a photo of all five of us from August of 2003 at Tokyo Disney, when we were there celebrating Mary's eleventh birthday. I believe this is the only time we ever dressed in costume for a picture. So sit back, relax, and enjoy . . . . . The Pirates of the Harribean.
