High heat and high humidity have settled in —welcome to a St. Louis summer—making night the best time to go for a walk. It wasn't quite dark before we headed out last night, and our dahlias looked great in the receding light.
No walk is complete with Allie, who always obey the traffic lights.
This 10 year-old is still quite athletic, but she wasn't about to jump up onto this ledge at City Hall, especially with water on the other side.
Allie knows that when we get to the local hardware store, she usually gets a treat on the stairs.
