Since this week is "visiting grandparents week" for Peter and Jessa, I thought I'd share a picture from the summer of 1988 when Brad and I (we still lived in California) were doing just that. Having spent a week during the previous summer at Brad's grandma's house in Iowa, we traveled the following year to Aurora, Illinois to visit my grandma. In this picture I was, as you can see, somewhat pregnant (with Peter, who was born about two months later).
