Now that Peter is a cat blogger, I think it's time to point out that he used to live with a cat. This is my sister Kelle's cat, Romeo, pictured with me and Peter at the apartment we three shared with Kelle in Mission Viejo in 1989-1990. Kelle sent this picture to our grandma and after Grandma died, it made its way back to me. On the back of the photo Kelle wrote to Grandma: "Peter loves to read! Romeo looks disgusted with it all. Sue's a super mommy." Kinda sweet.
