If you've been to our house in the past 15 years, you know we have a large mirror surrounded by hand-painted face masks. We bought it at the annual Prairie School auction, when we still lived in Racine, and the masks are of the boys in Peter's 5th grade class at Prairie. So imagine my surprise when just the other week the mom of one of those boys posted this picture on facebook. It's of the many of those boys, holding their masks in art class, before they were painted and glued on the mirror that we ultimately bought. Such a treasure!
