Today I'm not ready for a whimsical Flashback Friday. It's been a bit of a week, for so many of us. When I think of what happened on Tuesday, I get sad. And mad. And I feel stunned, still. But for the long run I have to feel hopeful, and so I think of this group here (in a picture from the summer of 2015). This is what lies ahead. (Even including me and Brad, elders of the group that we are.) This is my Flashfuture Friday, a picture that represents the time to come, the possibilities, what good there is in our family and in our country. These days I have to think of this. If I don't, I'll go crazy.
