Flashback Friday

When I look for pictures for Flashback Friday, some don't seem old enough to get the Flashback treatment. Often I get fooled by the years. What I mean is that even though the year 2007 doesn't seem like that long ago to me, it was ten years ago—which is definitely Flashback eligible! (Even though the kids would prefer it if I burned all their middle school photos.) This picture is from January 24, 2007. Eighth grade Mary was all dressed up in our kitchen in Shorewood—for what?—I'm not exactly sure. This is filed with the photos from her St. Robert's sports pictures from that winter, so I'm thinking—and I have a vague recollection of this—that the St. Roberts girls went to a Marquette basketball game together. Ten years ago she was Mary, an eighth  grader with braces. Ten years later, she's Ms. Harrison the second grade teacher. A lot happens in ten years!
