Flashback Friday
Please know I'm not and don't plan on ever being a Dodgers fan. But the Dodgers are in the World Series for the first time since 1988 and I'll always remember a game from their last World Series. On October 15, 1988, Kirk Gibson hit that famous walk-off home run against the A's in game one, and we were at Joyce and Kelly's house watching that game. My parents were there too (though likely NOT paying much attention to a baseball game!). And so was one-month old baby Peter. Here's the only picture I have from that night (DON'T ASK ME WHY WE HAD A BRAND NEW BABY AND HE'S WITH HIS PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, AND GODPARENTS AND THERE'S ONLY ONE PICTURE!), but it's a good one. (You can't see but Peter is wearing a baseball outfit.)
