Christmas: Poss Edition

I don't have all that many Christmas pictures to share, but I still thought it'd be easier to divide them up into two posts, since we spent the first couple of days with the Poss side of the family and the next couple of days with the Harrisons. Mary, John, and Troy were home for Christmas. We went down to my mom's for Christmas Eve and part of Christmas Day. She had a beautiful tree and it made the house really festive.
Christmas Eve is Troy's birthday and this year was a biggie. Unfortunately for her she was under the weather. So I think her new Harry Potter onesie birthday gift felt especially cozy.
I didn't even get a picture of Troy's cake. (What is wrong with me?!) Suffice it to say it was chocolate and delicious but because she was sick we didn't light the candles.
My mom made John a Green Bay Packers quilt that she gave him on Christmas Eve. Needless to say it was a big hit.
As was the card that came with it (and the Snapchat that ensued afterwards on our family Snapchat thread).
On Christmas morning we were all decked out in our Christmas elf pajamas and my mom's dog Simba even sort of made it in the picture.
Across the Atlantic Ocean, Peter and Jessa spent the week before Christmas in England. We gave them tickets to see Twelfth Night at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford and they sent this nice picture. Grandparents gave them tickets to two different museums (Stonehenge and Roman Baths), and I think we all liked this kind of gift giving.
They were home in time for a Christmas in Morocco (and for Jessa's mom's arrival the day after Christmas) and sent this picture of Peaches, who clearly enjoyed the gift wrappings.
Back in California, we took my mom's to Kelle's house for a big and delicious Christmas dinner. We were back home on Christmas night, getting ready for Part Two of our Christmas!

  1. The picture of John and mom hugging with the quilt around John is awesome!
