Not just Brad, but now Allie and I too have been in California for a year. It was one year ago today that Anne and Anne and Allie and I set off from St. Louis for Long Beach. This is one of my favorite pictures, at the Continental Divide in New Mexico, when we got pelted with hail and snow and we ran to the car when we heard the crack of thunder.
