It's been a slow news week here at the blog, with back-to-back Flashback Fridays and nothing in between. Sorry about that. But with Peter and Jessa in Iceland, Brad and me spending the weekend in Paso Robles, and I'm sure John and Mary carefully planning their weekend photo ops around which would be the best picture to forward me for the blog (hint hint), I'm confident I'll have more to share next week. In the meantime, I'm flashing back to exactly twenty-five years ago today, August 3, 1993, when we were in Aurora, Illinois celebrating my grandma's 80th birthday. If she were still alive she would have turned 105 today. Here she is with her three adoring great-grandchildren: John ("the cute one"), Mary ("the baby"), and Peter ("the perfect one").
