Last week was my mom's birthday and she had a big week of celebrating. There was more than one party. Brad and I partook in her post-birthday dinner on Friday at her favorite restaurant in San Juan Capistrano. Here's Mom with grandson Jack and a friend.
My sister Kathy and her daughter Lauren came out from Denver for the week.
Kelle's daughter Emily was also in town from DC, so all together there were five grandchildren in attendance.
By now we original children are used to the grandchildren being the main attraction. Nevertheless, here is Mom with most of her original group.
Family friend (and our neighbor) Bill Musser also joined us.
And here's the whole table at dinner. It was a fun party. I'm not exaggerating when I say we literally closed the place down. (Then again, it closes at 8:30.)
