The It's-Almost-Easter Post

John and Troy ran a half marathon last weekend. It was held very near to where they live. They wore matching running shirts from their favorite running store in St. Louis.
Meanwhile, Mary and Andy are on vacation in Spain and Portugal. This is Mary in front of the house she lived in when she studied abroad in Madrid during college. Her house mother Pilar, who still lives there, was out of town so unfortunately they didn't get to visit with each other.
Brad's birthday was this week and we spent his big day at Disneyland. If you know us you know we are thrill seekers. Here we are on the Winnie the Pooh ride.
The highlight of the Disneyland day was getting to eat at Club 33, thanks to Brad's boss. If you don't know what that is, neither did I. It's a private dining club on Disneyland's grounds, in New Orleans Square. Who knew?! The food was delicious and we had a wonderful dinner.
In Easter news, I am pleased to introduce this year's batch of washi eggs. This is before they were varnished.
The other day Allie met some chicks on our walk. She'd like to wish everybody a Happy Easter.
