Here's a vacation I would have loved to have gone on: sailing in the Caribbean for a week. The lucky vacationer was none other than .....
..... oops, not Peaches, it was actually .....
Jessa! She and her mom and some extended family spent a week on a boat. She tells me it was as wonderful as it sounds!
Meanwhile, over on dry land Tikka experienced some DC thunderstorms. Mary said that although she goes to her crate, otherwise she seems okay.
Here's Tikka enjoying a more chill moment.
Meanwhile, Allie had lots to think about on our walk the other day. I'm still waiting to hear whether she wants to go to Bora Bora or Bali Hai (because we can go to Chronic Tacos any ol' day).
Two exciting things happened here this week. First, Brad and I got to go to a Cardinals' game at Dodger Stadium. Although Brad had been there lots of times growing up, it was my first visit. We had great seats.
We were in the second row and within spitting distance of the first baseman. Thanks to our brother-in-law Bob for the tickets! The Cardinals lost but we still had a great time.
The other exciting thing that happened this week is that I successfully made yogurt in the Instant Pot!It may not sound like a big deal but my first effort was a dud and produced only thick milk. The second time I made one adjustment and I got lovely yogurt. This is the yogurt after it had strained overnight. Peter was my yogurt-making guru.
It's so delicious that I've already got another batch cooking!
