My scanner and my computer don't want to talk to each other anymore, even when I have them hard-wired together. The printer will print, but the scanner won't scan. So frustrating. But I'm not going to let it bother me—though for Flashback Friday it does mean that I have to revert to photos that are already scanned in (which means a select few baby and little kids pix) or that I took with a digital camera (which means all the middle school years and later). For some reason the kids don't like it when I post the pictures of them in their adolescent years (I wonder why), so here's one of Peter when he was just over a year old, in 1989. I chose this picture because it's Peter's birthday month so it's one last hurrah for that. Plus, it was Peter's (and I think our) first time to visit Arizona once many of our siblings (and later Brad's parents) started moving there. Since Brad and I are headed to Tucson on Sunday I thought it was fitting to look back to one of our earliest trips there.
