These Past Two Weeks

Tikka speaks for all of us when she says that there's nothing better than a nap on the couch at home. This is Tikka two weeks ago, after she and Andy and Mary got home from a weekend away at a cabin in Maryland.
A couple of weeks ago John and Troy ran the Rock and Roll Half Marathon in Denver. Troy was excited because it was the first time she'd ever bested John in a race. John hasn't been running as much as usual since law school started, so I am guessing he was excited just to have finished.
Also a couple of weeks ago I went to listen to Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin at the speaker series in Los Angeles that we get to go to, thanks to the generosity of our friends Krista and Todd. Krista's friend Diana (next to me) took Brad's seat since he was in Tucson. We had a great time as always.
Last weekend Peter spent some time with John in Fort Collins when his job took him to Denver and Fort Collins for a few days, while Troy spent the weekend at a bachelorette party in St. Louis and Nashville.
From what I heard the weather was brisk and the burritos (see photo) were large and plentiful.
Meanwhile, I was in Tucson with Brad for a few days for the inspections for our house. While there we tried our second donut place in Tucson. The ambience left a bit to be desired but the donuts did not disappoint.
