Having all the kids home for the long Thanksgiving weekend was a huge treat. John and Troy got here first and on a rainy Thanksgiving morning the three of us went down to the running path along the beach for our Turkey Trot. John and I ran the 5k, while Troy ran the 10k. MVP was Brad, who gave us a ride down there, but luckily by the time the race started the rain had subsided.
The rest of the group arrived on Thanksgiving day. We had a few friends over and had a nice day together.
Friday was our travel day. Destination: wedding! It was only 45 minutes from here but we all stayed at a hotel where there was space for the eight of us, as well as Brad's parents who drove over from Phoenix. On the way we stopped for the obligatory In n Out lunch.
I only have two pictures of our entire group. This is one of them. Go figure.
Friday night was the rehearsal dinner. On the way we stopped at my mom's house. She was hosting her two great-grandchildren and their parents. This is Troy with baby Arthur.
