Week in San Juan
I was at my mom's this week, where the resident hummingbird is named El Chapo and the bluebirds raise their broods right outside the window. So imagine my surprise when this Cooper's Hawk landed on the wall of the patio one morning. At first I was afraid he was eyeing one of the bluebirds, but we think he was more interested in some stray bird seed. In the end, he did no harm.As always I got to spend a lot of time with Simba. He likes to keep watch so that he can bark at each and every dog that passes by. I had a thoroughly enjoyable week with my sister. Distancing is the last thing anybody wants to be doing at a time like this. But it's what needs to be done. So, we maintain a quarantine and we toast with our non-alcoholic beer and make the best of it.
