It seems impossible that this picture is from exactly ten years ago today: November 13, 2010. Mary discovered debate when we moved to Connecticut and she did great at it. This tournament was a highlight because in school history, no one on the debate team had ever made it to the final round of a tournament. Mary and her partner took second place after going up against a team that included the number one ranked debater in the state. Needless to say, it was an exciting day.
