In 2009, Mary's friends Emi and Nora flew out from Shorewood to spend Thanksgiving with us in Connecticut. You can be pretty sure this picture was pre-iPhone, since we didn't do a selfie of the entire group of us. Eleven years seems like no time at all, but in the lives of all these kids it also seems like so much time. From high school to college to all the life beyond that has happened in eleven short years.
