Flashback Friday

It's been eleven years since we took this fresh-faced high school junior on a whole lot of college visits. This picture was taken on the day we drove over from Woodbury and toured Brown on April 2, 2010. Every school that Mary looked at was on the East Coast, except for Stanford. We'll always be able to tease her that she told us it'd be a "waste of money" to fly across the country to visit Stanford, since she'd already been there before and she was going to apply anyway. Well, she hadn't been there since elementary school and it wasn't her first choice school ..... until she visited again and everything changed.
