Lots of Firsts

This has been a week of firsts for the youngest Harrisons. Here's Lloyd, as we see him most nights when he Facetimes us from the bathtub. He needed to be extra spiffy this week because something big happened on Thursday.

Lloyd's big thing was his first day of daycare. He rode with his dad (and mom too, but she was the photographer) to his first day at his new daycare center. When he called from the bath last night after his first day he was in fine form and the report was that he had a really good day.

His cousin Rosie is an old pro at daycare, having started at the beginning of the month. Today she's experiencing her first-ever snow day from daycare. It seems like all of Philadelphia is closed as Peter has a snow day from school and also from jury duty. (Though Jessa's working.) Down in Baltimore, Aunt Mary has a snow day today too. Living in Denver, no doubt someday Lloyd will also learn about snow days before too long.

In another first for Rosie, she got her first tooth this week. While she got a snow day before Lloyd did, being six months older he's ahead of her in the tooth department.

Here is Tucson, we don't have snow days. But we did have visitors earlier this week. Our niece Rhone and her girlfriend Nora stopped over for the night on their long drive from Florida to California. On their way out of town we stopped over to visit Aunt Joyce.

A week earlier we had a Wisconsin reunion at our house. Some friends of mine from when I worked in Racine were here, as well as some mutual friends who now live in Tucson, and we had a fun dinner at our house.

And finally, we didn't join the circus but we went to the Zoppe Circus last weekend in Tucson. For some of us it was our first circus (for my it was my second) and for all of us it was a lot of fun.
