Chicago Time With Mary

Last weekend Mary and I met up in Chicago for a long weekend getaway while she had some extra time thanks to her spring break.

I delivered a sewing machine from Geneva's church rummage sale, so now Mary has her own machine.

We ate some yummy food. This was our night out for Japanese.

We took in a play at the Goodman Theatre called The Penelopiad.

We did a lot of walking, including one rather brisk day when we walked along the lake.

We went on the architectural boat tour along the river, which was fantastic and not as cold as it might look.

And we met up with our mutual friend Priscilla to visit the Chicago History Museum. 

It was a great four days in a great city with the world's greatest daughter!
