Cookies for Change

There is a local baker who makes these election cookies. I've been putting them in Mary's lunch and she said they make for great lunchtime conversation. There are also Biden and Palin cookies made by the same baker. In the spirit of bipartisanship, last week Mary had a Biden cookie in her lunch and today she has a Palin cookie in her lunch. I'm saving the above cookies for closer to election day. (There is no school this week Thursday or Friday so I don't have much time left.) If you're thinking what I was thinking when I first saw them, they don't look very tasty, do they? So you might be interested to know that Mary says the cookies are . . . delicious!
