Too Cool For School
Yesterday afternoon most of the schools in southeastern Wisconsin decided to cancel school for today, due to cold. Right now it's 8:00 a.m. and the absolute temperature is 3 and with wind chill it's -7; and it's bright and sunny. Mary was actually disappointed, as finals start next week and today there were a lot of important things going on at school. So we'll have a family day -- indoors -- unless Mary and her friends go through with plans to go cross-country skiing!

it is suppose to be 83 here today
ReplyDeleteWe had those temperatures in December and they didn't close school here. In fact we have to have at least a foot of snow before they'll even have a snow day!
