What's in Bloom Today at Our House

We continue to have spectacular weather here in Connecticut, and spring is in full bloom.  All around town there are so many huge bright yellow forsythias in bloom; the magnolias are popping, and there are just a whole lot of flowering trees in full splendor.  It's so pretty!  Since it's our first spring in the house, we are enjoying the surprise of seeing what blooms in our own yard in the spring . . . . . here are some photos from our yard.

Not sure what variety this tree is, but it's sure pretty.

This poor bush would probably have performed better for us had I not given it a severe haircut last month.  I'll know better next year.

I can't believe that azaleas are in bloom already.  And on the north side of the house too.

Our new peach tree has blossoms, and behind it are daffodils.
