It's been a nice Mother's Day weekend. I got to see John yesterday in Boston, video chatted with Peter earlier today from Krakow, and this morning Mary and I had some good laughs watching last night's SNL with Betty White. And as if that weren't enough . . . . . .
Okay, Peter, John, and Mary are truly my best Mother's Day presents EVER. And after them? Why, a hammock, of course! But . . . . how did Brad and the kids know I wanted a hammock? Okay, maybe I did hint a little (or a lot). We have the perfect spot for it between two big trees. As you can maybe tell, I think it's pretty comfortable. And . . . . . I am sure I won't be the only one to enjoy it.
The view from the hammock isn't bad, is it? To get the full effect, imagine a nice breeze and birds chirping in the background. Oh, and a dog laying at your side too.

ooh i am definitely coming to visit you to try out the hammock, i love hammocks but dont have a place to hang it !
ReplyDeleteWhere are your Bon Bons? That looks so relaxing, I just picture myself lying their reading a book and taking an excellent nap! I would be a bit worried about bird droppings coming from the tree. Enjoy and Happy Mother's Day!
