On the way to visit Mary at Stanford today for Parents' Weekend, Brad and I flew from LA to San Francisco. It was a beautiful day and the views along the ocean were fantastic. This is the Pebble Beach golf course. ( Airplane photos courtesy of Brad.)

We had dinner with Mary at a favorite sandwich place of hers in the engineering quad. It was delicious.
In the main quad. After dinner Mary went to her Thursday evening class, and we went to our hotel. After getting up at 2:45 a.m. to catch our flight, we will welcome an early sleep.
