Is this a different garden that you were expecting??? Last night, Brad, Mary and I, along with one of Mary's friends from her dorm, Will, were at Madison Square Garden to watch the Stanford men take on the University of Massachusetts in the Final Four of the NIT basketball tournament. Spring break came at a convenient time, and the tournament took place at a convenient place!
As you can see, Mary and Will have their student tickets, along with their cheering thing-a-ma-bobs, and they are ready to root for the Cardinal!
Stalker that I am, my camera found Mary and Will in the crowd. Look for the red circle and red arrow. (You might have to click on the photo to enlarge it to be able to see.) Madison Square Garden is huge, and it wasn't even halfway full last night. Still, their seats were fantastic (just around the corner from the Stanford bench), and even if the student cheering section was tiny (there were only about 10 students and Mary was the lone female) it was still very energetic.
When they weren't down in their courtside seats, Mary and Will joined us at our seats.
It was a great way to spend an evening. So fun and spirited. Stanford won 74-64, so next up is the championship game tomorrow night vs. the Golden Gophers of Minnesota!!
I should go see the women's finals here but I have nobody to go with.
ReplyDeleteHey you and Brad look great. Did you lighten your hair color is that the light shinning on it? I can tell you have lost weight (but you didn't need to lose that much.) and you can really tell Brad has lost weight especially in his face.
Keep up the great work!!
